Treatment of Melasma

Melanin is the main biological pigment involved in skin pigmentation and is determinant for the differences in skin color. Melasma is a common, acquired and symmetrical hyperpigmentation characterized by more or less dark brown macules with irregular contour but clear limits on photo-exposed areas, especially the face, forehead, temples and rarely on the nose, eyelids, chin, and upper limbs. It has great aesthetical implications and so demands for specialized dermatological care.

Enhance is offering multiple treatment options including topical therapies, dermaroller, lasers and PRP.
